Intro to the Energetics of Acupressure Part 1
Every Acupuncture point is a teacher.
In the Introduction to the Energetics of Acupressure we will explore major acupressure points and the wisdom they have to offer us. We will also go over the use of language when utilizing these points and how we can use our words to move energy.
We will also review 5 Element theory, the Chinese Medicine System of Correspondences and how to begin to see clients as walking, talking landscapes.
As we explore these acupuncture points we will breakdown their location, Chinese character (spiritual meaning) and Traditional Chinese Medicine actions and indications.
Lastly, I will share techniques on how to contemplate these ancient points so their unique lessons may begin reveal themselves to you and your presence can grow as a practitioner and as a HUMAN.

Hello friends, my name Dusty Bodeen LMT, LAc, owner and operator of Epiphany Acupuncture, LLC. I am a 5 Element Acupuncturist, LMT, Eastern Bodywork teacher, Gene Keys Guide and musician. I have a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and received a Massage Therapy Certificate from East West College of the Healing Arts. Before returning home to Eugene, Oregon this fall I was on faculty at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland where I taught Intro to Eastern Bodywork and Energetics and Shiatsu.
My passion for diving into the energetics of Acupuncture Points began when I was attending Chinese Medicine school and discovered the work of J.R. Worsley, Debra Kaatz and Dr. David Ford. After graduation, I traveled to Alaska and began my studies with Dr. David Ford and ever since then my passion has continued to deepen for how the energetics of acupressure/acupuncture points can transform lives and improve health. |
